Bridgeport Energy Limited ('Bridgeport' or the 'Company'), is a public unlisted Australian company, incorporated in June 2009 for the purpose of acquiring and developing oil and gas assets in Australasia and other international locations.

The opportunities we have acquired, and continue to seek, will meet appropriate and attractive investment criteria. Bridgeport is well positioned to capitalise upon available opportunities in the oil and gas industry thanks to its forward thinking management team and board and knowledgeable and experienced operating staff. One of the key strengths Bridgeport has is, even though small, it operates in all the capacities of an oil & gas company; from seismic, through drilling, project development and production, a skill set which the majority of oil companies in Australasia do not possess. This strength provides leverage and opportunity where other companies may not find it. Most of the personnel at Bridgeport have worked together in other operations over the past 20-30 years. The Company, as an Operator of its permits, has acquired 2D and 3D seismic, drilled numerous development exploration wells, redeveloped its production facilities and increased production four fold. We now operate two producing fields and have a close alliance with our drilling contractor which allows us to drill cost effective development wells.

Bridgeport currently has oil projects and exploration permits based in southwest Queensland and two onshore exploration permits in the Otway Basin of southwestern Victoria:
