Managing Director & CEO
Christian Lange
Christian Lange is Managing Director & CEO of Bridgeport Energy, an Australian oil and gas company committed to responsible domestic energy production. With more than 30 years of international leadership across the energy sector, Christian has successfully led ASX-listed and private companies through growth, turnaround, and capital-market cycles.
Christian has held senior global roles with Schlumberger before serving as CEO of SDS Corporation, Neptune Marine Services, Condor Energy Services, Armour Energy, and ADZ Energy. He has a proven track record in enterprise transformation, capital discipline, and operational excellence, having raised over $500 million in equity and debt funding and executed multiple strategic acquisitions and divestments.
As Founder of Griffin Energy Solutions and Executive Director at Griffin Advisors, he has also advised domestic and international energy businesses on M&A, strategic growth, ESG performance, and organisational leadership.
Christian holds an MBA (with Distinction), is a graduate of IMD Switzerland, and is a member of the AICD, AIM, and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He is recognised for values-based leadership, building high-performance cultures, and fostering trusted partnerships with investors, communities, and regulators.
Director & Chief Development Officer
Katherine Lange
Kath has worked in the upstream oil & gas Industry for 23 years with both E&P and service companies. Kath spent the last 3 years with ADZ Energy / Armour Energy as the General Manager Strategy & Commercial and Chief Operating Officer, and at ExxonMobil for 16 years, including working on the Gorgon Project as the Jansz-Io Work Operator Manager. Kath is a specialist generalist, having spent her career working and applying her knowledge to multiple different areas within the industry. This includes onshore and offshore facilities, reservoir engineering, health safety and environment (HSE), regulatory compliance, operations, contracts, commercial and joint venture management.
Kath completed a Bachelor of Engineering and Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
Financial Controller
Mong Tran
Mong has 20 years of finance and accounting experience, mainly in the Australian upstream oil and gas sector. She has a proven record in people management and collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders within the business. Her experience has been focused on reporting, budgeting/forecasting, business and risk analysis, compliance and joint venture arrangements. She has been involved in mergers/acquisitions and has been integral to the transition process of mergers as well as the implementation of new ERP systems.
Mong is a qualified Chartered Accountant who started her career as an auditor for mid-tier firm BDO Sydney (formerly PKF Sydney) and progressed to financial and management accounting roles at Anzon Australia Limited, Roc Oil Company, Gloucester Coal Ltd and Yancoal Australia Ltd – all listed or previously listed on the ASX. Mong has been working for Bridgeport for the past 10 years as Finance Manager and was recently promoted to Financial Controller.
Exploration Manager
Cameron Fink
Cameron Fink has over 30 years of experience in petroleum exploration and development across Australia and North America. He has worked extensively in the Cooper Eromanga, Otway, Adavale, and Bowen-Surat Basins in Australia, as well as the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and the Gulf of Mexico.
Cameron began his career with Amoco/BP in the mid-1990s through the early 2000’s and has since held senior technical and leadership positions with Dominion Exploration, Samson Canada Exploration, and Athabasca Oil Corporation. He joined Bridgeport Energy Pty Limited in 2014 and is a member of the executive team, leading the company’s Exploration and Subsurface evaluation functions. Cameron has a strong track record of delivering exploration success across a wide range of geological settings. His expertise spans prospect generation, seismic interpretation, geologic modelling, and the design, project management, and execution of 2D and 3D seismic acquisition. Cameron also contributes through joint venture representation, contract negotiation, and oversight on the selection of the company’s computing hardware and software solutions.
Under his leadership, Bridgeport has advanced a disciplined exploration strategy that has achieved
strong technical outcomes, optimised capital efficiency through farmouts, and expanded the company’s portfolio of new venture opportunities. In his current capacity he sets the exploration framework, leads risk management of petroleum exploration ventures and aligns technical execution and expenditure with the company’s long-term growth roadmap and corporate return-on-capital thresholds.
Cameron holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geophysics from the University of Alberta and a M.Sc. (Hons) in Geophysics from the University of Victoria, Canada. He is a member of ASEG, PESA, CSEG (Canada), and the SEG.
Operations Manager
David McCall
Joining the upstream oil and gas industry on Mobil North Sea’s Graduate Engineer Training program, David has more than 29 years’ experience in engineering, operations and asset management roles. His areas of technical expertise include well and production engineering. He has held various management roles with safety, production and budget responsibilities for both offshore and onshore fields in Australasia and West Africa. David has been Bridgeport’s Operations Manager since late 2022. He holds a B.Eng (Hons) from the University of Aberdeen and an MBA
from the Cranfield School of Management in the UK.
